This was a small, intimate wedding for a great couple and two remarkable families. Kristin and Marco, as well as several family members, served in the military. This was a joining of two families as much as it was a wedding.
I met with Kristin and Marco before their big day, and they told me some great stories about their parents and families. They were planning a small wedding, and I had a feeling it was going to be just as it turned out. A very nice gathering with a laid-back atmosphere. They both were focused on the vows and family. The rest was icing on the cake.
The wedding was held at Pocono Manor. The ceremony was in a beautiful area and featured our great flag. With some many veterans and active duty members there, it only seemed natural to include Old Glory.
After the vows, we gathered at the main inn and did family photos then headed inside for a nice intimate dinner with great acoustic music playing in the background. Once the cake was cut, and speeches made some dancing broke out which only tightened the bond between these two great families!
They spotted their all-time favorite video game and had to play it! I told you they were laid-back!
Thank you, Kristin and Marco, for allowing me the honor to be part of your day. And thank you for your service to our country!
