Hello! Lots of things have been happening the last week or so. I have been busy shooting and thinking. I am looking forward to a new year on the way … I am always looking for ways to grow, and I don’t think 2018 will let me down. But for now, let’s focus on the most recent fun…
The talented and lovely, Erin Malloy had a very nice event at Posh in Scranton showcasing the talented young ladies and gentlemen she teaches. The theme was award-winning songs, and I have to say they sounded awesome. My primary function there was to capture the red carpet photos of all these rising stars. Congrats to Erin and all those that performed!
I also had the pleasure to meet up with the great ladies at the Carbon County Chamber and Economic Development Corporation. We were discussing some ways to partner and create opportunities for everyone involved. Stay tuned for some future news in the world of Commercial/Business Photography.
One of my all-time favorite annual events, The Nutcracker, Presented by Scranton Civic Ballet, was held this past weekend. It is always inspiring and exciting to photograph this ballet. The students always do a fantastic job. I love attending the dress rehearsal to create as many images as I can of the movement, grace, and beauty.
After enjoying the performance as a photographer, I was also able to enjoy it as a spectator 2 days later. Peggy, Connor and I went to the Friday night performance and all of us thought it was awesome! We have enjoyed going for many years now…. Connor loves watching it and always gets a new Nutcracker to add to his collection!
Let’s see what comes up in the next few days. It’s awesome to love your job!!
