Maggie and Jonathan are such a sweet couple. You can easily see they are both focused on each other. They were both excited to see the other and genuinely happy to exchange vows with each other.
I met up with Maggie first at Woodloch Pines Resort. This is a special place for her. She wanted her wedding to be outside by the lake, and she got exactly that. She was getting ready along with her great girls and was very relaxed. I took some time to get some detail shots as well as the interaction of friends.
A little manly bragging here…. My Swiss Army Knife came to the rescue as a great way to hook all those buttons quicker. Not too glamorous but it got the job done!
Once everyone was dressed there was some time to relax and take a breath before the ceremony. I was going back and forth between Maggie and Jonathan to capture some images of them with the special people that were part of their day.
Maggie added a wonderful element to the ceremony. In honor of her Dad, she placed a rose on the chair reserved for him. I thought this was a very sweet gesture.
The little bit of chill in the air from the wind coming off the lake was replaced with warmth once Jonathan and Maggie began exchanging their vows. Jonathan’s Grandfather was the person who had the honor of performing the ceremony. This made the ceremony so much more personal since he knew the couple so well.
Following the ceremony, we headed down to the mill. This a such a nice picturesque spot. It is always nice to find a few minutes alone. The happy couple and I hitched a ride with Jason, the awesome filmmaker! He was kind enough to let us hop in his car for the short ride. Jason and Jessica were awesome to work with. Jessica was headed to the reception spot to capture the details and action there.
Thank you, Maggie and Jonathan, for a great day!! I really enjoyed documenting your wedding and meeting your friends and family. I want to thank the very nice staff from Woodloch as well as Jessica and Jason representing Fresh Focus Studios.
