HAPPY NEW YEAR AND SOME INSIGHTS

So here we go again… Another lap around the sun. I first wanted to wish everyone of you reading this very happy and prosperous new year. I hope the 2024 brings you and your family lots of joy and happiness.

We all know this time of year feels a little different and a little more special. It gives us a chance to reflect as well as plan for a whole new chapter. That is why I am excited to tell everyone that yes I still absolutely love what I do, but I am hoping to make a few transitions myself this year.

I have been a professional photographer for over 20 years now with 16 of those years being full-time. It has been an absolutely wonderful, amazing experience that I am forever grateful for and will continue to be grateful for.

We all need things to change and adapt and I am ready for a little change. I hope to accept some new challenges this year, with a transition of my business into more of a commercial/branding photography service. After so many years of weddings, which again I loved every single one of them I feel it's time for a little bit of a change.

I have noticed my business slowly transitioning to more commercial work, and I love the challenge of it. I've even begun taking on different portions of volume photography. I have done some early learning centers for a while and I recently took on my first public school assignment! I am working with dance studios as well.

Another fun transition as been doing more and more professional headshot and branding assignments. That has led me to do some training with high volume headshots...meaning a large number of individuals in one day or several days. It is so fun to meet so many people and watch them feel great about their images on the spot! I have found myself capture fun shots for brochures, menus and bilboards.

I have invested in software to have very effective delivery processes. I have learned how to capture images quickly and efficiently so that my clients do not lose productive time. I've worked with large organizations and photographed up to 400 people in one day. It's amazing and fun to work on these projects!

Being in the Pocono Mountains and surrounded by great resorts like Kalahari, Camelback, Woodloch, Skytop Lodge and so many more I fee there is a service I can add while so many visit the area for business or pleasure. Conferences for Attorneys, Realtors, professionals in the medical industry. What better time to update your look?? While your entire team is gathered for an offsite meeting you can all take a few minutes to create some new looks!!

I am still totally interested and excited to photograph families and seniors of course! I enjoy creating images for families that they can all share and save as memories. I've watched kids grow up right before my eyes.

I am so grateful for the gift of doing something I love and can't wait to see what 2024 brings!!
